Grosso Bernardo (alias) is a music composer and researcher, working with audio and text.

His theoretical research focuses on post-history, language and institutionalism. His latest musical works "Devastami fortuna" and "Audio Sin Text Vol.1" were published via La Barberia Records / The Orchard, and produced together with Marco Fasolo of Jennifer Gentle. In 2019-2020 he released the singles "Abisso OK / Scordati la lingua" and the EP "Europa triste" (produced together with electronic artist Lorenzo_BITW) under the alias of Bernardo Levi. Both records are distributed by La Barberia Records.

He wrote the soundtrack of El libro de Sicilia, a play directed by Pablo Fidalgo and commissioned by Centro Dramático Nacional, and performed music for the show at Teatro Maria Guerrero in Madrid under the alias of F.M. Fortuna.

He is part of the collectives Grosso Sonno Viola - together with poet Viola Lo Moro and visual artist Sonno, as past residents of Casa degli Artisti (Milano) - and Vieni Fortuna, together with curator Ginevra Ludovici, artist Chiara Pagano and musician Germanò.

Some of his music is / was featured in Ai lati d'Italia (La Tempesta Dischi), Puntine (DLSO), Indie Italia (Perindiepoi), BEST OF NEW MUSIC (DLSO), Dischi Indipendenti (Rec). Some of his writings appeared in Mondoperaio, Rivista Inutile, Lo Sguardo, RIFD, L’Inconscio. He shared the stage, among others, with The Notwist, Jennifer Gentle, Baseball Gregg, Setti, Jomoon, Catholic Block.

He was visiting researcher at IRCAM Centre Pompidou and UCLA Dept. of Comparative Literature. He teaches critical thinking at Luiss Guido Carli.
